Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last Updated 16/06/2026

At Anseo Digital, I deliver high-level, custom-tailored digital marketing, branding, web design, and SEO strategies. Because my services require dedicated calendar allocation, custom asset creation, and significant intellectual property layout from day one, we operate under a strict commercial policy regarding cancellations and refunds.

As Anseo Digital primarily provides services to businesses, corporate entities, and sole traders (Business-to-Business / B2B), all transactions are governed by commercial contract terms. Standard consumer "cooling-off periods" and consumer rights regarding change-of-mind returns do not apply to our services.

Upfront Project Deposits

Non-Refundable Status

All upfront deposits required to secure a project slot in our calendar are strictly non-refundable.

Why This Policy Exists

When you pay a deposit, Anseo Digital locks in specific production hours for your business, turning down other potential client work for that period. This fee also immediately covers initial project admin, discovery call breakdowns, and foundational strategy allocation.

Project Kickoff

No strategy work, wireframing, or asset development will begin until this deposit has cleared in full.

One-Time Projects (Branding & Web Design)

Cancellation Mid-Project

If you wish to cancel a branding or web design project after work has commenced but before completion, you must notify us in writing via email.

Pro-Rata Billing

Upon receipt of a cancellation request, Anseo Digital will retain the non-refundable deposit. Additionally, I reserve the right to invoice the Client on a pro-rata basis for any additional milestones or development hours completed up to the exact date of written cancellation.

Delivered Work

No refunds will be issued under any circumstances for completed projects, finalized brand kits, custom social media templates, or websites that have been launched or transferred into your ownership.

Ongoing Monthly SEO Retainers

Advance Billing

Ongoing SEO retainer services are billed on a rolling monthly basis in advance. These monthly payments are non-refundable.

Cancellation Notice

Because I allocate dedicated weekly optimization hours to your site, I require a strict 30 days' written notice to pause or cancel an ongoing monthly SEO retainer.

Final Month Billing

If notice is given mid-month, the retainer will remain active for the following 30 days to close out the current optimization cycle, and a final invoice will be processed accordingly. No partial or pro-rata refunds are given for unused days within a billing cycle.

Client Delays & Stalled Projects

I work built-in buffers into my timelines to protect my workflow and ensure your project gets thorough attention. However, projects require active client collaboration.

If a project is stalled or paused by the Client for more than 30 consecutive days (e.g., failure to provide website copy, imagery, feedback, or backend credentials), Anseo Digital reserves the right to formally terminate or indefinitely pause the project.

In such cases, all fees paid to date are forfeited, and a restart fee may apply to re-add the project to my active calendar at a later date.

Third-Party Costs

Anseo Digital is not responsible or liable for refunds regarding third-party expenses incurred during your project. This includes, but is not limited to:

Domain name registrations.

Web hosting subscriptions (WordPress, Wix, Shopify).

Premium plugin, font, or stock imagery licenses purchased on your behalf or required for your site.
