Privacy Policy

Last Updated 16/06/2026

At Anseo Digital, this Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you visit my website, inquire about my freelance marketing services, or work with me as a client.
I operate in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988 - 2018.

The Information I Collect

I only collect the minimum amount of personal data required to deliver my services, communicate with you effectively, and optimize my website performance. This includes:

Identity & Contact Data

Name, email address, phone number, business name, and website URL when you fill out my contact form, book a discovery call, or onboard as a client.

Technical & Usage Data

Your IP address, browser type, location data, and how you interact with our website (pages viewed, time spent), collected automatically via cookies.

Client Project Data

Content files, team bios, brand images, and secure login credentials for your digital platforms (WordPress, Wix, Shopify, hosting, etc.) provided by you to execute our agreed project scope.

Financial Data

Billing addresses and transaction details when you pay deposits or monthly retainers via our secure payment links. Note: I do not store your credit card details on my servers; payments are processed securely by my third-party payment processor.

How and Why I Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when Irish and EU law allows us to. Most commonly, we use your data for the following "lawful bases"

Onboarding & Communication

Responding to inquiries and scheduling discovery calls.

Project Delivery

Creating brand kits, building websites, and running SEO audits

Payment Processing

Managing invoices, deposits, and rolling monthly retainers.

Website Optimisation

Tracking site traffic, performance, and user experience.

How I Share Your Data

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. To run my business efficiently, I share data with trusted third-party service providers who help me operate. All third-party partners are strictly required to respect the security of your personal data and treat it in accordance with the law. These include:

Web Platforms & Tools

Hosting providers, content management systems (WordPress, Wix, Shopify), and Google Analytics/Data Dashboards.

Payment Gateways

Secure third-party payment processors used to handle transactions.

Professional Tools

Communication, calendar-scheduling, and project management applications.

Data Security & Credentials

I take data security incredibly seriously, especially when handling sensitive backend access to your website or hosting registrar.

Any login credentials, passwords, or sensitive business files shared during our onboarding process are kept strictly confidential and stored securely. Access keys are deleted or revoked immediately upon project completion, or securely maintained on a rolling basis for active monthly retainer clients.

How Long I Keep Your Data

I will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements (such as holding financial transaction records for Irish tax compliance).

When a design or branding project concludes and final payments are cleared, you retain 100% ownership of your assets, and any raw access credentials no longer required will be securely purged.

Your Legal Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have strong rights regarding your personal information. As an individual, you have the right to:

Access

Personal data I hold about you.

Correct

Any inaccurate or incomplete data.

Errasure

Request that I delete your personal data when it is no longer legally necessary for me to keep it.

Object or Restrict

The processing of your data under certain circumstances.

Data Portability

Request a transfer of your data to another provider.

Cookies

My website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users and improve your browsing experience. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when websites set or access cookies. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this website may become inaccessible or not function properly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I keep my Privacy Policy under regular review. Any updates or changes will be posted directly to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top.

Contact Me & Complaints

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, how your data is handled, or if you wish to make a data request, please contact me directly.

If you are not satisfied with how I handle a request, you have the right to lodge a complaint at any time with the Data Protection Commission (DPC), the Irish supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.dataprotection.ie). I would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the DPC, so please get in touch with me first.
